GreenMatters is a consultancy specialised in thematic studies, policy advice for regional and local agencies, event moderation and marketing of green products. We work at European level advising mostly public clients on green policy matters and supporting companies with innovative green ideas. We have over 25 years of experience in regional policy, energy and mobility transitions, circular economy as well as climate change adaptation. GreenMatters can feature an outstanding set of references.
Our mission is to make an active contribution to climate change mitigation and adaptation as means to preserve the basis of our social and economic wellbeing. Whether we work for small companies or big institutions, moderate workshops or major conferences, we are determined to deliver high-quality, tailor-made services and to see happy clients coming back for more.

GreenMatters is offering policy advice and thematic studies on the energy transition, energy efficiency, circular economy, waste management and climate change at European, national and regional level.
We are acting thematic experts for Low-Carbon Economy and for Environment and Resource Efficiency for the Policy Learning Platform of INTERREG EUROPE and we are making high-level expert presentations on the latest trends & developments in 'green matters'. In the past, we advised INTERREG IVC, Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE, and the European Commission on the SME Instrument.
GreenMatters is always looking for new, exciting products that are made to last and close the loop towards a circular economy. We are interested in innovative applications of renewables, in repurposing and recycling materials that were destined for disposal or incineration. GreenMatters supports companies in finding new, international markets and in promoting their products.
We have a long track-record in moderating workshops and conferences and in organising World Café sessions and other interactive events online and offline around green matters. We are highly experienced in ensuring high-quality debates and a lively exchange of views and arguments.

Team
Katharina is a senior project developer and policy expert with > 20 years of experience in renewable energy, building renovation, sustainable mobility, circular economy and climate change adaptation. She leads projects from concept to implementation, combining strong technical expertise with strategic insight into European policy frameworks and funding instruments. She has extensive experience as a lead expert for thematic studies and policy-focussed expert missions. She is a regular speaker at European policy events and has contributed to expert groups and conferences on climate policy, clean mobility, energy efficiency and future-oriented sustainable technologies.
